Strings & Sol Announces 2019 Artist Lineup
Strings & Sol returns for its eighth year to the tropical shores of Puerto Morelos, Mexico, December 12-16 with a stellar lineup that includes hosts Yonder Mountain String Band and Greensky Bluegrass for a celebration of bluegrass, community, and fun in the sun.
To be held at the Now Sapphire and Dreams Resort & Spa, the all-inclusive music festival will also feature The Infamous Stringdusters, Leftover Salmon, The Del McCoury Band, Railroad Earth, The Travelin’ McCourys, Horseshoes & Hand Grenades and The Sweet Lilies. Jam’s goddesses of brass, Jennifer Hartswick and Natalie Cressman, will also be there as special guests.
Attendees will be treated to three sets of music from Yonder Mountain String Band and Greensky Bluegrass while Railroad Earth, The Infamous String Dusters, Leftover Salmon and Horseshoes & Hand Grenades will each play twice. The Travelin’ McCourys, The Del McCoury Band and The Sweet Lillies are scheduled for one set each.
Well known for its tight-knit group of fans who pour in from all over North America and beyond, Strings & Sol is a family reunion of sorts that offers beach jam sessions, theme nights, poolside contests, instrument workshops and more. Perfect for families, Strings & Sol also offers off-site excursions and beach activities. And once again this year, organizers Cloud 9 Adventures are partnering with Positive Legacy, a nonprofit that offers festival-goers and artists the opportunity to give back to the local community with a day of service.
As in years past, count on Strings & Sol to sell out, but returning guests will be eligible for a pre-sale of all-inclusive packages on April 17. What remains will go on sale to the general public on April 18 at 12 p.m. EST. For more information and how to purchase packages, click on the links below.
