Inside Holy Ship!!!’s Electronic Party in Paradise
The 2014 edition of Holy Ship!, which was held over four days in January, featured performances by Pharrell Williams, Diplo, Chromeo, Disclosure, Zedd and more. It also featured a surprise appearance by Dutch DJ Tiësto, who flew himself in. Afterward, he made a video, which Rolling Stone premiered, of him hanging out with his DJ friends and organizing a conga line around the ship’s decks. “I’m friends with a lot of DJs who’ve played Holy Ship! before and they told me how awesome an experience it is,” he told Rolling Stone. “I wanted to play in the past but couldn’t make it work with my schedule. This year, I flew down on my own and surprised everyone on board. It was a wild time as you can see from the video!”
