After a successful first year, SLIGHTLY STOOPID is bringing its CLOSER TO THE SUN fiesta vacation back to RIVIERA MAYA, MEXICO, DECEMBER 15th-19th. This year’s lineup includes SOJA, IRATION, PEPPER and OZOMATLI with special guests G. LOVE, DON CARLOS, KARL DENSON and IAN NEVILLE. Room packages include  four nights of music on the beach, food, drinks, poolside sets, late night parties and activities with artists.

CLOSE TO THE SUN is the ultimate fan experience, a vacation in paradise featuring artist-hosted activities, interactive workshops and all-inclusive amenities, with extras like water sports, spa services, extra nights and other options for an additional cost.

With a stage set-up on the beach and attendance limited to 1,000 fans, CLOSER TO THE SUN will feature two full SLIGHTLY STOOPID shows, with an acoustic set during the MAYAN sunset.  Fans will be treated to afternoon poolside sets and late night DJ parties .

NOW SAPPHIRE is situated right on the CARIBBEAN SEA, surrounded by lush jungle and just a 25-minute drive south of the CANCUN AIRPORT in PUERTO MORELOS, with all the amenities of a luxury all-inclusive resort while maintaining the genuine and rustic feel necessary to create the perfect vibe. Multiple pools, bars, restaurants, and a beautiful stretch of beach make up the resort.

All guests attending CLOSER TO THE SUN must have a reservation booked through CLOUD NINE ADVETNRUES and must be staying at NOW SAPPHIRE to attend the shows. There are no day passes or off-site passes available for this event.
