Positive Legacy
Positive Legacy is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization on a mission to integrate music and service to benefit people and the environment. Working in conjunction with Cloud 9 Adventures, partner organizations and a collective of creative leaders, Positive Legacy coordinates environmental and humanitarian service projects fueled by the power of music. They create sustainable support through action from musicians and fans to transcend cultural boundaries and attend to the needs of the communities where music happens.
Leaving A Positive Legacy
Ways To Give Back
Day of Service
During each of our destination events, Positive Legacy organizes a Day of Service to support the needs and aspirations of the communities we visit. They partner with local non-profit organizations to coordinate environmental and humanitarian service projects that leave lasting, sustainable impacts for the local community.
Joining a Day of Service gives fans and artists the opportunity to be part of this larger project, experience local life, engage in local culture, and leave a positive legacy during their trip.
Carbon Offsets
Cloud 9 Adventures and Positive Legacy partner with Trees Water People, a Colorado based non-profit organization that manages dozens of sustainability projects throughout Central America and the Caribbean. Together, we have planted over 220,000 trees, constructed 750 clean cookstoves and offset 21,969 metric tons of CO2.
Volunteer or Donate
Looking for more ways to get involved with Positive Legacy? Volunteer at Positive Legacy HQ during an event or join a Day of Service! You can even help in between adventures by serving on a committee or donating your time and talents. No time to help? Bring pre-approved school or medical supplies for the local communities, make a monetary donation, donate an item for the charity auctions, or purchase an item during the auction! Nearly 100% of your donation will go directly towards Positive Legacy’s ongoing environmental and humanitarian projects.
What We Have Accomplished!
Positive Legacy is grateful for the 3,733 people who have gone on vacation and dedicated a day to work and help the communities we visit.
Collectively, our Day of Service volunteers have provided almost 5,600 labor hours by planting trees and gardens, building and beautifying school classrooms and facilities, cleaning beaches and community spaces, and beyond.
Where Your Dollars Are Making A Difference
In 2023, Positive Legacy celebrated over $1 Million in giving to community projects. Thanks to monies raised through the charity auctions at each event, Days of Service, BINGO, Charity Bartending and other fundraisers, these funds are put back into the local communities to support people and the planet.
